South Africa
My country, my life. Although not a paradise I, as a young person, am positive about the future. Over here my generation is considered as the 'Lost Generation' because we choose to speak English and dress similarly to Americans, but through this site I hope to dispel that view.

South what?

Come on in...
South Africa is a country of contrasts; some forcefully put in place by the Apartheid Government. Through this site I hope to show you the differences in our lives and the reality of youth in South Africa. The images shown on TV and the stories told are usually through foreign eyes and are sometimes way beyond the truth. I'd like to let you into the mind of young post-Apartheid South Africans.

Through other eyes Through poetry and photography I'd like to let you into our world. Poets, I've learnt over time, are brutally honest people and will give you the truth whether you like it or not and through our poems as young people adults can actually see the world through our eyes.
If you are a young person and have anything to add to my site, be it a poem, a photo or just a comment, email me. I will try to add all contributions to the site as soon as possible.
